Sam & Susan at Franciscan Gardens, San Juan Capistrano

Sam and Susan hold a very special place in my heart because they were one of the first couples I saw throughout the whole planning process from beginning to end. I was there as Susan waivered back and forth from a rustic, vintage styled wedding to a whimsical frenzy. She originally planned on having a traditional church ceremony, but a last minute change in plans made her take it all outdoors! In the end, she ended up with a wedding that was completely a reflection of her bright and cheerful personality and a day that was filled with much celebration, love and laughter.

Susan was definitely the visionary behind all of the details you are about to see...I was just an extra pair of hands and feet. ;)  I hope you enjoy all the lovely pictures by Gabriel Ryan, who not only captured the day oh-so-perfectly but was also one of the nicest people I've had the opportunity to work with.

Never judge a book by its cover...but shoes can definitely say a lot about a person's character.

Sam just couldn't keep his eyes off her...

Great job to Joono and Audrey for their yummy creations!

I knew I was meant for this job when making 250+ pinwheels was actually kind of soothing to the soul.

A few of the most adorable things from the wedding: vintage furniture and can't forget the kiddos!

I know most people love watching the bride walk down the aisle, but I always find myself watching the groom look in amazement as his bride approaches him

Such a happy couple!

Downtown San Juan Capistrano had so many great photo locations and it fit Susan and Sam's style so perfectly.

This bridal party knew how to get the party started!

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the bride and groom so relaxed and enjoying their day.

I had so much fun working with both Sam and Susan and I am so thankful for the friendship that was born from this whole process. I will never forget the meetings at Coffee Bean and the conversations that were had and the tears that were shed and don't even get me started on the crazy vendor meetings!  I want to thank Sam and Susan for making me a part of not only their wedding day but a part of their life. :)

If you have any questions about the details from this wedding, please feel free to ask. I'd be more than happy to provide you with more information.
